Scam Description
I have a vehicle for sale on Craigslist, he if he is a he,repeatedly tried to get me to get a vehicle SV report. Said carfax wasn’t detailed enough. He said Smart vin.was what he needed. Even said he didn’t need to haggle over price ect…but needed the SV.report.He even sent a link for it.He must have asked a minimum of 10 times if I had gotten the SV report yet.My gut told me no dont.And Im so glad.Its a way for them to get your info and credit card.His insistence on that report, was a huge red flag.Even offered to “pay me back” for it. But when I suggested he get it,oh its not his place to do my job.Stay away from these people and there “SV” report Smartvin something. Its not real. Do you’re research.
