Scam Description
Facebook page linked to my personal email and related business page was hacked by the “Lily Collins Hack.”
I received the attached email on March 27, 2023, and a second email thanking me for “signing up” for Facebook Mobile. I deleted both of these as Spam. When I attempted to open Facebook the following day, my profile was replaced with a photo of Lily Collins and my page was gone. Resetting my password led to a “new” Facebook page listing my DOB as 3-28-1997. INCORRECT.
Attempts to locate help on Facebook have been (as expected by them) useless. Apparently this hack has been going on for months. Facebook has not only failed to acknowledge it, but no support appears to be available.
