Scam Description

I ordered a pair of glasses for the amount of $65.85 from lensmartonline.com on August 31 of 2023. The tracking information for this order did not update until I actually received the lenses on September 15 of 2023. Upon trying to wear the glasses, I realized I could not see out of them. I had my daughter check and confirm that she could see better out of them which means they were not made to my prescription. I contacted customer service via email because that was the only method they listed of contact. It states their operating hours are from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM so I would either get a message before I went to bed or find one when I woke up in the morning and would have to wait hours before they would respond again. After confirming my prescription with them, they stated that I had entered information correctly and that was the reason the lenses were not correct. I had sent them a photograph of my prescription from my doctor so I could not have entered anything incorrectly. They refused to replace the glasses with a pair with the correct prescription, and refused to give me a full refund. They stated they would refund me for just the frames if I sent the glasses to an address that was different than the one listed as the sender address on the package I received. The new address was for a place in Rancho Cucamonga California, where as my return address for the glasses is for Cedar Grove New Jersey. I also would have to pay for the shipping myself and provide them with the tracking number.
