Scam Description
I reached out to someone with a Craig’s List ad for a treadmill they were selling. After texting with them, they sent me a selfie of them with their Texas Drivers License to prove they were real, and eventually convinced me to create a Coinbase account so that I could pay them in Bitcoin. I paid $300 over two transactions, and after the transactions were completed they stopped responding to my texts. When I tried to call the phone number it had been disconnected.
