Scam Description

I bought a pair if wireless earbuds that contained an insert with a QR code to scan to activate a warranty on the product. It directs you to a page to enter your information. It asks for a credit card so that you can continue the warranty after the trial period. Once I entered my information I received an email thanking me for signing up for their streaming service. I would be charged $49.99 per month for unlimited access to games, movies, music etc. Clearly this has nothing to do with a product warranty. I replied to the “welcome” email to immediatly cancel this scam service. I also called my credit card company to cancel my card and I have a fraud watch on my credit report now.
