Scam Description
A lady (Autumn Ronelle) that I paid a $400 deposit on a schnauzer on, signed a contract for, and was supposed to pick up…suddenly had an “emergency” and decided to ship me the puppy early. She used the AirPetlogistics service which I believe to be a fraudulent company (I now believe Autumn to be a scammer as well). The company immediately demanded (via text, they did not answer the phone even the I tried the number on the “website” multiple times with no answer) that I send $743 for an insurance fee or they would send the dog to a pet rescue unit. I did not ask to use their service or sign the dog up for it. Autumn did all of this. And somehow, I was being asked to pay the fee, which by the way they said i could pay in PayPal, bitcoin, or Venmo…I did not pay it. I said i would rather not use the service and that i would come pick the puppy up wherever they are. They refused to tell me where they were or where they would send the dog and said they would not debate me. Again this is over text because no one would answer the phone when I tried to call. And have not heard anything from them since yesterday. Autumn keeps trying to convince me to send the money. She insisted she would send half so i would only need to send $400 and just to “trust” her. I now believe her to be a scammer too.
