Scam Description
I was trying to return items I purchased online. I could not find my email, so i called the company. after going through the process they said that my card was blocked and they could not refund the amount to my card. Through out this call i spoke to a representative named Samar, who claimed he was in an office out of Seattle. He asked for the number phone number on the back of my card and said he would connect me. It rang thru to another number which he told us was card services. the “card services” guy tried to convince us our card had been blocked because of fraud. After a very long time on the phone and my husband calling the card company on another line we cancelled our cards and called them on trying to scam us. they hung up. I tried to call the company back and ask for a manager, hoping this was a lone employee. When i asked for a manager they tried to tell me they were a car wash and they didnt have a manager on, I verified i had called the correct number.
