Scam Description
An order was placed online for a product. The product never arrived and any attempt to contact the company is invalid. The phone number stays busy, or the call simply will not go through. The email from the original purchase is a “do-not reply” style email, therefore, attempts to email regarding the order does not work. It seems that the company may have at one time been a real company that was bought out by another individual who is still trying to sell the product fraudulently. The original company is Hoover Sauce (it was a bar b que sauce company). However, it has not been sold in stores in over 2 years and its’ Facebook page has had no activity in over 2 years. I believe Lee Hong Company (the current owner of the address listed for the business) may have bought the business out and is still trying to sell the product in a fraudulent manner. Please investigate. The address listed for this company is an empty abandoned store.
