Scam Description
I was trying to order flowers for friends who had just had major surgery. I ordered them online and then received a text that the local florist had run out of flowers to match my order; they would create a different bouquet; they couldn’t send a photo. I tried to call and was put on hold for more than 20 minutes with stupid messages like “you’re #20 in line, wait time 15 minutes” down to “you’re #7 in line, wait time 15 seconds”. That’s when you know they’re frauds. Finally a person answered. I said I wanted to cancel the order. She hung up. The flowers were never delivered. I canceled my credit card. The “customer service” person emailed me and professed to know nothing of the situation, could not track my order # etc. Frauds.
