Scam Description
Bought from a high-ranking Google Shopping linked storefront for fashion and electronics. After a 31-day non-delivery of an electronic item (which included false tracking on China’s 17track.net), a sales rep promised to send a second replacement package. The person spoke very good English as a second language. The person then sent a new tracking number a few days later through 17track.net again. After three weeks, 17track.net claimed a second time that the package was delivered when it was not. No tracking info provided by seller and customer service. Just received a phishing scam text on the next day after 17track.net falsely claimed delivery. The text stated that I needed to give more personal info to receive my “delayed” package. The text pretended to be from USPS, but with a phony http web link to a non-governmental, non-USA website.
