Scam Description
I found a specific item I had been looking for through google.com on this merchant’s website. I purchased 10 packs of the hair item by using my debit card. My bank called me to confirm the purchase and I did not notice that the merchant was a completely different name. I purchased from usoutreonsale.com however the merchant appeared on my bank statement as “Miami Hot BBQ”. I immediately reported it to my bank where they are now in the process of doing a fraud investigation. There was a number for Miami Hot BBQ in Hollywood, FL. I did speak with a male employee who proceeded to tell me that they have received several calls about customers complaining of fraud. The employee would not give me his name but he did tell me to contact my bank. I asked if he was aware the someone is using the restaurant’s financial information to scam people on a website that sells hair. He said the restaurant is currently “in trouble” and he ended the call. The website should be shut down to prevent any more scams.
