Scam Description
Placed order on Nov. 24, 2023, was charged immediately. Received order confirmation, said I’d receive another email when order shipped. Never shipped, checked repeatedly (these were meant to be Christmas presents). I tried EIGHT times to reach the merchant (5 emails, 3 phone calls). No reply until just before Christmas saying that I need to use my tracking number (I NEVER RECEIVED a tracking number because they never shipped my order). Then on January 1, I received an email from the merchant saying that my order was damaged and undeliverable (funny, given that it never shipped), and they would send a new one right away, and that I would receive an email with the shipping information. Guess what? No email. No new order number. No tracking information. It’s now January 9, almost SIX weeks after placing this order. I went to the merchant’s website to see if I could figure out where the new order is. Nope because the original order number is still there with NO updated info. I went to Facebook and Instagram on a hunch, and guess what? They’ve taken down all of their social media presence and YET… their website is still active, and I’ve received two text messages from them with special offers. Ha! Bold, isn’t it? I have now contacted my credit card company to contest the charge. I have shared all of this information with them, but the BBB and other potential customers should know about this untrustworthy company. I hope some action will be taken. This is horrendous. I’m not even sure that it’s legal to charge before items are shipped. I rarely see this happen. I should have gone after them much sooner, but given that these were Christmas presents I was just hoping somehow they would show up.
