Scam Description
I was looking for a Miniature Schnauzer online, and found Miniature Schnauzer Puppies Lovers on Facebook. I communicate with them through Messenger. Naomi offered one puppy for $800, and a second for $400. She told me to get Walmart Money cards. I went to the Walmart in Newark, twice and bought the cards. She asked for pictures of the cards, front and back, which I sent to her. We wanted to pick them up, but Naomi insisted on a delivery service to bring the puppies to our door. I was contacted by a shipping company, Grateful Pet Delivery Service, 415-952-7842. I spoke to an Indian man, who I can barely understand. They were supposed to be delivered last Tuesday. But then he asked for $1000 for an air conditioned crate. I told him we don’t have the money. Then Naomi said she would pay $100, if I paid $900. I again explained that we don’t have the money. Yesterday, she said she would pay $300 if I would pay $600, and again I said no. My grand-daughter told me the dogs don’t exist.
