Scam Description
Lazy Squire Games is a company that develops and publishes board games that consumers may “back” to offer funding for the project and later receive a product. I’m currently involved with two projects from this developer: Stormsunder and Wild Assent – Lavon Rising. Stormsunder was successfully funded on March 5, 2020, while Wild Assent – Lavon Rising was successfully funded on June 29, 2021. Today is August 16, 2024 and there seems to be no clear timeline for when the product will be released. Many backers and myself are deeply concerned that Lazy Squire Games won’t deliver on their original promise, as they continue dragging their feet with fluff updates without any substantial information regarding timeline or fulfillment of the project. I proceeded to look up Lazy Squire Games on the Better Business Bureau website and the company does not exist. I am deeply concerned that this may be a scam.
