Scam Description
Advertisement on Facebook. Store closing, JoAnn Fabrics. Sewing machines and such. Basically liquidation sale of inventory. I thought I was buying a small sewing machine and sewing machine accessories. After they took my payment I did not receive a receipt, invoice number, shipping details or anything I believed I was purchasing. I am unable to contact the company. My payment company wants proof of purchase, but the only proof of the transaction is from my payment company. My payment company did not get a detailed receipt. It also states the purchase was in person, which is incorrect.
