Scam Description
I found the website for puppy adoption. Emailed from the website using contact form asking for information on one puppy. Received a reply with information on puppy including price, adoption process and paperwork I would receive. Options of pick up or shipping were available. There was a contract to be signed for sale which helped with legitimacy. Seller texted for payment through Zelle or Apple Pay. Contract was signed a few days later. On day of shipment, I was told we needed to pay extra for a different crate for traveling with a shipping agency that emailed me. I searched up the name and they popped up with a website so I figured they were legit too. Sent money through Apple Pay because the amount was too big for Zelle and according to shipping agency 98-100% of fees would be refunded at time of delivery. Later on I was asked for more money due to “travel vaccines” and city permit fee. I asked seller to cover that, he denied. I asked shipping agency to borrow from the refundable amount of shipping crate as that would cover new fees. Excuse after excuse came up as to why it was not possible. Then communication stopped and puppy was not delivered. All phone numbers I sent money to and spoke with are: +1 (956) 532-8589 and +1 (956) 532-2325 from shipping agency which is Paw Transport Services https://pawtransportservices.com emailed me from info@pawtransportservices.com. Other numbers for Liams Aussie Shepherd Farm were +1 (224) 833-0981 +1 (785) 450-9421 and (785) 450-0421.
