Scam Description

I purchased two bathing suit tops in February from their website that were clearly labeled as “on sale”. Purchased my items and received the typical “we received your order” email with an order number. A month goes by and I double check their shipping time since I understood it would most like take a bit of time since they are based out of Australia – confirmed it was past the shipping time and reached out to their customer service via email.
I received a response from a rep named Marvie who claimed that the tops I ordered were out of stock and gave me the option to choose two different tops to ship express at no charge to me or to receive a refund. I responded and explained that I was very confused because no where on their website did it state that the tops I purchased were out of stock. I even went back on their site to confirm and both tops were still able to add to cart and purchase again. After several days of waiting for a response, I responded again and opted for the refund. Marvie assured me that my request was forwarded to the correct department and that was it. Another week passed and no update, so I reached out again and Marvie explained that the process is taking longer than expected. Since then I have not received my refund, an update or any sort of response; I’ve tried contacting them via their social media page (Instagram), sending another email and also using their “contact us page” on their website (which claims a 48 hour response) and I have received nothing.
