Scam Description

I reached out to the website to inquire about purchasing a Maine Coon kitten. The website is copyrighted for 2022 but the information online says he’s been in business for 8 years. The seller tried stating they would provide me a discount price of $700 completely out of the blue. All the kittens on the website are stock photos of other kittens. The website even states if you want to pick up your kitten in person, it’s an extra $450 but they can ship you your kitten for $120 which makes absolutely no sense. Why would directly picking up your kitten cost more? Lastly, when I confronted whoever is running this website about being a scam, especially that there were spelling errors (at one point he was spelling Maine Coon as Main Coon), I never received an email back and everything I pointed out spelling wise was corrected on the website, almost to legitimize if for further buyers. Scamming anyone is heartless. But scamming an individual or family or children that expect to be buying a pet they’ve fallen in love with over pictures and think they’re going to be bringing that pet home and then scam them not only out of money but that pet is so wrong.
