Dark Paws Maine Coon Kittens is a scam site. When I messaged them about a kitten, they sent a standard scripted email to me that was very well written asking a bunch of questions about my home, the vet I would use, and so on, making it sound legit.
But, as soon as I asked them, through email, if I could video chat with them and see the kitten, they replied with very broken English, a lot of grammar errors, and even started name calling. I even got the person sending me pictures of his supposed nice cars and telling me stupid people keep him well-fed.
They tug on your heartstrings, showing you pictures of amazing kittens, and I assume a lot of people fall for it and send them money upfront, only to never hear back from them again.
