Scam Description
On 13Sept22, I enquired via a Facebook post by Caucasian Shepherd Puppies for Rehoming, (CSPR) regarding the purchase of a dog. Our interaction is documented, (in its entirety) on Facebook Messenger.
As most breeders require a deposit to reserve an animal, CSPR requested a $200.00 down-payment. CSPR stated, “…the $200.00 down-payment is 100% refundable in the event you change your mind…”. Moving forward, CSPR requested the $200.00 payment via CashApp under the name SRTLeek, (tag $SRTSwipe16). In continuance with our chat, details began to not add up. Within 1 hour, I requested a refund of the $200.00 payment, (both in writing and through CashApp)and reported fraudulent behavior on the CashApp application. CSPR agreed, (in writing) to refund the $200.00 payment in-full, but has refused to comply. I have since discovered; CSPR provided false documentation of names, addresses, phone number and other contact information.
