Scam Description
We tried to purchase 2 african gray parrot eggs and sent $185 via cash app…$50 for each egg, plus shipping. Supposedly eggs shipped on 9/12, then on 9/13 he contacted again and said they’re being held in Ohio awaiting refundable insurance payment of $499. He even had tracking info and fake website for shipping company Skynetshippings.com I have requested refund of the $185 from cash app. I do not even believe they are actually in the US. They also have a facebook page I have reported as a scam. I’m not so much worried about the money, I just don’t want other people being scammed. The guy had arabic sounding voice and the cash app name was Hawa21 (Hawa Vamboi). I looked on the facebook page and it’s completely fraudulent. I wish I had thought to check that right from the start.
