Scam Description
I found a site for my sister for Yorkie puppies. it really looked real. I did not realize at first that my sister paid with vanilla Visa cards for $5000 in $500 amounts. Then they kept demanding more for the special carrier, insurance, food, and lodging for the dog because of the storm. They wanted her to use her car for collateral for more money. I said no and advised her to block the phone number. I’m sure they have it. I told my sister again to tell them no!! And I again said to block the number and tell them no! Because now they were threatening her with neglect to the puppy! How terrible! She was exhausted from lack of sleep from them calling and her worrying. And she is now out for $5000 or more. She is on a disability and on a fixed income and works very little because she’s in pain. But now she has to work especially now to regain the money they stole. Thank you. Sincerely, Barb L***
