Scam Description
I have over 50 email messages to/from Jessica Hill regarding special cancer survivorship items that Jessica was making for my sister. She stopped responding on February 9 after I reported her to PayPal. PayPal could not help me though as Jessica had me put the money through friends and family rather than purchase of items I am concerned that she will be scamming others through her beautiful website, FAINtasticSparkles. In her February 9 email she lied stating that she had tried to reach me via email in December and January asking for my address. I have never received those emails. On February 9 I provided my home address for items to be sent, as well as a request for photographs of the items created. she also offered me a refund at that time. Nothing has happened — no photographs/products/refund/return emails from Jessica. I also requested from Jessica the $431.45. I paid her through PayPal. She canceled that request. I sent a second request for the same amount of money and/or sending the product. I am waiting for her to cancel that request as well. I told her via PayPal that I have turned this in for further investigation due to her lack of response. I have followed through also with the credit card company with hope of getting my money back. Hope this helps! My sister to say the least was devastated to know that someone would take advantage of a cancer survivor. She had no idea though how much I spent on the products.
