Scam Description
Met a person named Kate Kenneth on social media who works for a company called WintradeX. katekenneth60@gmail.com .WintradeX is a supposed crypto currency trading platform. I was told I could invest 3k and earn good profits. She told me she would invest for 7 days, that is the trade cycle she said. So during that trade cycle we discussed going to the next trading level which requires additional investment. She went ahead and put me in the next trading level without my authorization and did not trade the 7 day cycle. By doing that I could not access any profits that were made until I met the investment requirements for the so called diamond level. This required an additional 17k investment. So now Im in for 20k. She also told me once I made that investment, I would have full control over the account. Not true. Once the investment was complete, then she says I have to pay fees. The trading cant continue without paying the fees. The fees came to an additional 16700. I did not pay the fees and told her I wanted out and my investment refunded. She said it was not possible without paying these additional fees. This is extortion in the true meaning. This is a total scam and should be avoided. Law enforcement is the next stop in the complaint series.
