Scam Description
Hired Marty at Moorview Home Improvements to waterproof basement, install a patio, and fix the chimney by repointing the top bricks and install a damper.
Basement still leaks and cage fell off chimney. Called another chimney guy and Moorview installed it completely wrong. Only saw it cause the cage fell off the top.
Proper way was – flue needed to be extended, then the damper installed, then recementing the crown and installing the damper.
Horrible work and left all their garbage in my backyard.
Avoid at all costs.
