Scam Description
She had an Indian accent and said she was with Medicare. She said this was a yearly follow up from last September. Then, she said “the federal government”…, and that is when I interrupted and said, “the federal government has nothing to do with me” to which she chuckled and replied, “we are on a recorded line”. That is when I hung up. I called the number back and the call immediately went to voicemail said, “the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time”.
