Scam Description
Someone claiming to work for the State Department called me and said he was going to send me a check in the mail. He told me that after I casjed it I was supposed to send him money back. I didn’t wait for him to tell me how much money he was going to send me or how much I was supposed to send back. I told him he was a scammer and the real State Department would not call me, they would send me something in the mail and I hung up.
