Scam Description
Phone call. Male person, no accent detected, said: “Are you (name)? Answer yes or no”. Answered ” What is this about?”. Then he said, “Your daughter has been in an accident.” Answered: ” I have no daughter” . Scammer said: ” This is Horseheads calling. ( really was Tucson Arizona ID on the phone). ” I have your son here. Here’s your son” Then another male voice came on the phone and said, ” I’ve been in an accident,” Answered: “What is your name?” The male voice said “Don’t you know my name?” Answered: “I know your name. Don’t you know your name?” With that exchange, the Scammers disconnected the call.
