Scam Description
I received two calls yesterday. The first was a girl pretending to be my grand-daughter. She said she was arrested because she had hit a pregnant lady. She said she needed bail money. I told her I don’t have any money to call your dad and the line went dead. Then a man called me, he said his name was Alex Morgan and that he was a public defender with legal Aid in Toledo, OH. He said he was defending my grand-daughter and asked for my son’s phone number which I gave him. He said the lady was in the hospital suffering from a miscarriage. He asked me for $5000 because it was a serious crime.
