Scam Description
I received an email that my subscription to the Geek Squad will renew automatically and I will be charged $417. When I called them, they said I could only cancel the subscription by downloading this special software which was a software that would allow them to see my screen, including my banking information. I started downloading the software (stupidly) and then heard major commotion on the other end like a dial-in modem on my phone. I hang up right away, aborted the process. I changed every single login after. This happened a few months ago and they are still sending me emails every day. Always Geek Squad subscriptions, always a different email address and phone number.
