Scam Description

I received an email stating that I had purchased a 2 year auto-renewal plan for $334.45 and that it would be applied to my account within 48 hours. There was a number to call in case I wanted to cancel or change my plan. I checked the number they provided with numbers of Best Buy geek squads in my area. The number was not listed. I called just to see what would happen and they tried to get me to download a remote app that would allow them access to my computer. I told them I was going to contact the better business bureau and they hung up.
