Scam Description
The text said it was from Whole Foods Market Research asking my to participate in a product survey. Because I do work for a number of companies like Curion, I gave my name, email address, and address. I then received a text saying an Express envelope was being mailed with instructions regarding the terms of the project. Several day later I received the envelope and it contained a check for $1350 along with a typed sheet which I have included in this complaint. Of course, it was obvious that the printed instructions were bogus with many errors and asked me to purchase gift cards starting at $1000 with a promise of receiving my money back plus more. I can send a copy of the check if you need that as well. I kept it in case you need proof of the check.
