Scam Description
Receive check in mail stating that my property’s home warranty may be expiring or may have already expired. The check was a “Registration Fee Voucher” in the amount of $199.00.
The problems I noticed were: 1) no barcodes or bank information listed, 2) Lender info was shown as Well Fargo (which is incorrect), 3) they had a property id that they created, 4) a response was requested in 7 days.
