Scam Description
This company is claiming to be an international shipping company located in LOUISIANA that ships packages all around the world. My job was a package checking specialist and I was offered 3200 base pay plus $40 bonus per package that was sent out on time. Totaling to about 4800 a month.
All I needed to do was open packages and inspect for damages, take photos of the products and upload all details onto my dashboard. Then go to a fedex ups usps to send out the package. I should have done my due diligence before hand.
I should have know this was too good to be true! When it came time to receive my paycheck, it never was deposited and when I started texting my managers, their phones started giving busy signals and then all of a sudden I was kicked out of the dashboard. So needless to say, I was never paid! That’s when I figured out it had to be a scam and then I started seeing all these posts and other people getting screwed over from a job like this. These people that are scamming were able to provide valid LLC documents and EIN taxpayer numbers. I wonder if any
shipping checking job is real!? They have a copy of me holding my ID and I filled out a W-2 with my SSN on it. Should I be worried about them having this???? I also gave info for my direct deposit, so they have my account and routing number as well.
