Scam Description
I responded to a classified add from an agency named “Online River” . A few days later, I received an interview invitation through the app Signal. I answered a few questions, name, phone, email and home address. On the same day, I also received an additional set of questions tipical of a job interview. A day later, I received confirmation that the position was mine and was asked to complete a set of documents sent via email. These included a W4 form, a prersonnel form, a direct deposit authorization, and a contract. See text of interview invitation below:
