Scam Description
This morning, I received a text message from this phone number: 1-714-462-4131.
The text ran: “Dear [My name], We hope you are doing well. DHU Healthcare has some exciting news for you. Your INDEED application for the Online Proofreader position at WizzAccounting has been shortlisted due to your impressive qualifications. If you are interested, please reply with “PROOF”. We look forward to hearing from you.”
DHU is a legitimate British company. See here: https://dhuhealthcare.com/
But when I searched WizzAccounting, the first link that showed up was from the BBB. So I didn’t apply to that position. But it’s worth a look-see to track down these WizzWeasels.
