Scam Description
I was contacted on March 18th, 2024 by a person named Jatin Rajput via phone (732) 709-0300 Ext 107. I had just submitted an application for a position on LinkedIn called Sr. AML QA Consultant. They called me several times but did not leave any voicemail. I received an email from them at jatin@anekats.com and contacted them. I was not able to completely understand what they were saying, but they said they submitted me for the role, which was a 6 month contract position. They said another person named Ranjeet Tiwari. I then received 6 consecutive calls from (732) 709-0300, but no voicemail was left. I reached out for an update via email on March 20th, 2024 and received an auto-response email “Your message wasn’t delivered to jatin@anekats.com because the address couldn’t be found, or is unable to receive mail.”. I then reached out to Jatin via LinkedIn to ask why his email is not working and he responded with “But i changed my job form that company thats why my that email id is deactivated”. This business and this person seem fraudulent.
