Scam Description
I received a text message inviting me to interview for a Data Entry Clerk position. I conducted the interview on Signal messenger app and accepted the role. They then emailed me a check for funds for a home office which I had to print and deposit. Upon completion, it was immediately important that I commence a wire transfer. I refused to do so without more information and am still in communication with the “hiring manager”
