Scam Description
I applied to a work from home job on Indeed, and within a day I was contacted to set up an interview. The interview was brief and vague, but I’ve been desperate for work so I tried to give it the benefit of a doubt. After the 4 minute interview, I recieved a follow-up email to complete “identity verification”, which I’ve done at other legitimate jobs before, but it was through their website and not a secure third party. I was also told to install telegram, at which point i started getting suspicious. I looked into this company and into employment scams, and turns out they’re probably not legitimate. I caught it before they tried to get me to make cryptocurrency accounts.
