Scam Description
The only thing of value they have of mine is my email address and cell phone number. I was sent a letter almost ver batim as those I saw online here. I was chosen as a Customer Service Officer, they actually sent me numerous emails. The interview phone call from the HR representative consisted of 2 questions, do I consider myself a team player, can I work on a team. That was it. Suddenly I was picked. The concerning part was the inclusion of the I-9 form, it almost seemed legit. I always assume it is fake for these job offers that don’t seem to do their due diligence. So the inclusion of filling out the I-9 almost got me. The other item I noticed was filling out the request for part time or “fill time”, any grammatical errors bother me and fill time instead of full time was a big one to me. I would expect an HR department that was legit to have easily caught and corrected that error. Here are the emails I received.
