Scam Description

Initially they sent me a text. This text mentioned a job offer and finding my resume on the Job board indeed. This number asked to move the conversation onto zoom. I provided the email I use for zoom which the conversation then moved to. Within zoom I was given a brief text interview. After this they sent a fake job offer letter to my email. The email they sent me was from a gmail account, stork.bv78@gmail.com, and they claimed that after training the emails would switch to using official company emails. They offered me a job, the role was an Administrative Assistant/Data Entry fully remote, and they offered to pay me 15$ an hour while training and then 35$ while employed. This job offer used the name of a real company as well as the names of real employees who work at the company, they obtained my personal information through this alleged employment offer.
During the first training I was told that they would send me a check in order to purchase the materials needed to preform the job. I believe this is the purpose of the scam is to send a fraud check which would later be reversed but they have also managed to obtain my personal information.
