Scam Description
I responded on LinkedIn Jobs and the fake employer responds so quick and made me send a coded text message, interviewed me through text and hired me right away. Sent me a check to do mobile deposit, and then asked me to cash the check and send a money order to the private vendor that will deliver all my office equipments and supplies to work at home. It’s good that I don’t have money or ways to cash the bouncing check they sent me, or I could be in trouble. Then, they told me to use Venmo. Again, Venmo did not dispense money. God is really good to me despite of my ignorance of what was going on. Mark Hartzel was the declared owner of the company based in Santa Clarita, CA and this is the Venmo account that they gave me @Lawrence-Opdycke
