Scam Description
I was advised to send resume to hr.manager@townscaperealty.com for a “Realtor Assistant” position. The actual position I applied for was “Remote Chat Support”. I contacted through email to sign and return employment agreement and confidentially agreement. In which I did. I received a phone interview about 1 day later and was advised that they would let me know if I was selected to take part in their 2 week training program. The HR manager name is Lisa Sallow. She informed that I was selected for the training program. She sent another email informing that I would have to wait for security dept teams approval, which could take a couple days. Its turns out that same day I was accepted to start training. I was also sent an employee handbook with another agreement that I had to sign and return. I have done a lot of research and nothing adds up. She also stated that I could contact her through WhatsApp (which I thought was pretty weird). I then, emailed her back informing I didn’t have WhatsApp. She then provided an alternative number 305-260-6146. She had thick accent so she may not be from the states. So far I’ve only provided name, address, email, and telephone number.
