I have been applying for lots of jobs on Indeed and I got this random text that states: “Thank you for applying for the job offer. After reading your Resume, our recruitment team is satisfied that you meet the required qualifications for our company. And you have been preselected to move on to the next stage which is employment verification and employee background screening. Kindly text our background agent Corra Group (618)400-4675 to schedule a date and time for the screenings, and once you’ve completed the process, then we move on to the next phase.

They never state a specific company that I applied to, they capitalized “Resume” for some strange reason and why would I text a background screening company? This is a poor attempt at phishing. Be vigilant you all!
