Scam Description
The owner of the Frozen Delights hired teenagers (under 16 years old) to work for $10 an hour. The owner told the teenagers their pay would not be taxed since they are under sixteen years old and made less than the minimum wage. The owner paid the teenagers a check without a stub or receipt breaking down the hours worked times the $10 an hour rate. But the checks would be short $50. When the teenagers asked about the shortage in their pay, the owner would not give a clear explanation and did not pay the shortage. This has happened to several teenagers that worked for this owner. The owner takes advantage of these teenagers’ innocence, does not pay them for the hours the have worked, and believes nothing will happen to her or her business. Please investigate this cruel and unlawful person for taking advantage of these teenagers.
