Scam Description
E-mailed me with job offer for Quality Control from home. Filed out all forms like a normal employer. Was told that I would be paid weekly for the first 30 days on a per package basis and then monthly thereafter at an increased rate. I did the work and was in contact with “Lucas” for the first month. I got paid for those four weeks. I processed 39 packages the following month, and they stopped coming about a week before I was to be paid. “Lucas” stopped answering the phone (it would just hang up on me when I went through the automated system to get to him). A couple of days after the payday that never happened, my login credentials were revoked to get into the portal. They basically got me for a whole month of free labor.
