Scam Description
I got an email first from Wilson Rogers saying they found my resume on Indeed and was interested in interviewing me for the “GEA Group”. Everything was rushed but they apologized for it and then I was directed to a Microsoft Teams meeting with someone names Jesse Villiers who was supposedly a hiring manager. He was not after reading their previous scams. He got basic personal info and was telling me they’ll send me a check for the equipment I need and that I’ll be sent some devices I’ll need for “work”. After being suspicious I came on here to look up if it’s a scam as it was a bit too good to be true and turns out I was right. Please be careful if you get any email of this sort.
