Scam Description
I was contacted by Agatha Maurice a recruiter for this “company” that was interested in hiring me as a Senior IT Analyst and wanted to set up a skype interview with Dorris Virgil, as directed, contacted Mrs. Dorris Virgil via Skype. she introduced herself as Dorris Virgil, Age 52 and The Hiring Manager and also Serves as Senior Branch Manager at *[ HOLLIS & REED LAW FIRM ]* Major red flag when the interviewer keeps texting. another red flag was constant spelling and grammar errors. after many questions, including one regarding my bank account “(10) What’s the Bank name you Operate with to see if it tallies with the company’s official salary payment account and how many years have you been operating with them?” Also, please note I tried calling the 3 numbers listed on documentation and none of the lines are active. another key red flag, she had no clue what job i was being hired for, kept referencing an accounting job…major fraud alert please due your due diligence and stay away from this scammer. Luckily, I caught on to this scam and was not financially impacted.
