Scam Description
I received an email from a Darlene Stewart at PE Recruiting. They claim to be an executive recruiting firm and are requesting your resume. Before I engage…I do some research first. I reviewed the PE Recruiting website and it looked legit. However, there is no presence of Darlene Stewart or the company PE Recruiting on Linkedin. I was surprised by this…especially given that the firm is in the business of recruiting executives. Additionally, I checked the Better Business Bureau and there is no listing of PE Recruiting Inc.
But, there was a report about this company being a scam. That person reported that they want an individual to pay to have there resume re-done.
