Scam Description
This person claimed to be Joshua Huffman from Amirall SA and they were reaching out on behalf of their hiring team for a remote position that paid $35.89. There were 3 positions available: Customer Service Rep, Data Entry, or Administrative Assistant. They said because it was an immediate hire, the interview would be online over Skype. They mentioned the hiring manager’s name was Jessica Batts and she would give me more information on the job position and company. He then asked if I had Skype downloaded on my phone or laptop. I then cut off communications with this person because it seemed too good to be true and I could not find these job positions on Indeed, LinkedIn, or the company’s website. After a little research, the jobs offered are the ones used in scams most often and I did not want to risk it.
